This is Rathcoole, from the air. Taken from my uncles Piper J-3 Cub this morning. It's a grass strip, East of Millstreet. There was a lot of fog around.....

So, went for a spin in my uncles Piper Cub today down in Rathcoole. What a machine!!
My uncle took it up, and handed me over control, and it was fantastic. Responsive, simple and easy to fly. Here are a few pics.

Look What I WON!!!

Got a letter today telling me I'd won a copy of Jeppesen's Flight Star Flight Planning Software. As the name suggests it does all the flight planning for you, so I can save hours of pouring over maps with square protractors and scaled rulers and measuring distances and speeds and times........ Worth €150!! All for the price of a stamp. Thanks FLYER.

My Accordeon's Screwed.....

My pride and joy, a Hohner Atlantic IV T Musette Accordéon is broken!
The Musette reeds in the accordéon are way out of tune, and totally flat. This is gonna be so expensive to fix. Either pay €€€€€€€€ to get it repaired, or send the poor thing to London for over a month……. Things don’t look so bright for my lovely accordéon.

Robin DR400, What I'm gonna buy

Saw this beaut while I was in France over the summer. It's a French built Robin DR400 light aircraft. Sleek, powerful, great performer and it's FRENCH! I'm saving already.......(We have to aim for something!)
